luxury staycations in the UK

This year has been a tough year for everyone. Many of our special plans have had to be cancelled, and we’ve needed to stay indoors for months. It looks as if the world pandemic is easing up. Some of you are starting to think about meeting back up with our loved ones. Many are even considering getting back to travelling or going on a luxury staycation.

I’m not there just yet as for me going abroad right now is quite complicated. However, if you’re eager to get away here are some luxury staycation ideas for right here in the UK.

Romantic Getaways for Couples

Not only have we not been allowed to go out of doors for months or see our partners. If this is the case for you, then you have even more reason to take a luxury holiday somewhere lovely. The Beach Cove Coastal Retreat in North Devon is the perfect place for a luxury staycation. It is stunning resort with comfortable furnishings and 21st-century technology. You can have your own private hot tub, and admire the views of Hele Bay from your outdoor decking area. The perfect place to rekindle your romance.

Take an Iconic city break

Britain is an excellent choice for city breaks. You don’t have to go off to eastern Europe to enjoy spas and stunning landscapes. Bath Mill Lodge in Bath is a luxury staycation spa retreat that has everything you might expect from a first-class resort. It include an impressive bar and restaurant with a specialist head chef capable of producing mouth-watering dishes. The resort is in the heart of Bath and has ready access to the gorgeous city centre. Not to mention the tranquil surrounding countryside. Bath isn’t the only luxury city break in Britain, but it’s definitely in the top three.

Spectacular walking holidays

Who doesn’t love nature? Who doesn’t love walking in stunning vistas, sitting by gorgeous lakes, and breathing fresh air? The Lake District has it all. For a luxury experience in this iconic landscape, check out the Thanet Well Lodge. Stay in a lovely log cabin with perfect unrestricted views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and lakes. If you love walking there are lots of opportunities in this region and the lodge is situated within an hours drive of the most popular ones. If your driving check you have insurance or get a quote from one sure insurance.

Visit the Islands

The ‘great’ thing about Great Britain is that it’s an island, there are many smaller islands around it too that make amazing luxury holiday destinations. There’s the Outer Hebrides in the north and the Isle Of White in the south. These places have stunning tropical-style beaches, coats and nature walk. On the Isle of White, there is a lodge called Woodside Coastal Retreat, and Woodside bay Retreat. They are 5-star holiday parks that offer access to your own private shingle beach. Some of the accommodation is a little bit quirky, and hot tub lodges are available.

Visit a luxury spa

If you’re ready for a luxury holiday but don’t want to travel far then visiting a luxury spa in your area is a fantastic way to spend a day or a weekend unwinding and re-energising. In London, there are lots to choose from, including the Akasha spa, the Aman spa, and the Berkley spa. They all offer first-class facilities such as jacuzzis, steam rooms, swimmings pools, and treatment rooms. We could all do with a bit of pampering after the year we’ve had so don’t forget to treat yourself.
