If Coro Coro has taught me anything so far it’s that I need to stop putting things on hold. I’ve been deep in my self-reflection bag lately and my my my. My stomach turns every time I think about the long list of things I pumped the breaks on.
Why do us humans seems to think that we have all of the time in the world, when we don’t. Now I don’t say that to you scare you but the facts are the facts. Our journey here on this earth is very limited. So we must make it is our personal mission to ensure that while we’re here we do what needs to be done.
“Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.“Benjamin Franklin
After this is all said and done life can’t go back to business as usual. None of us know what is coming around the corner. We must get our skates on now and work towards bringing some things to life. I know most of the world is on lock down right now but that doesn’t mean that you can’t use this time to plan ahead. One day all of this will be behind us, but what will you do when that time comes?
“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.Habakkuk 2:2
After reading this post make a list of 7 things that you’ve always wanted to do. It can be anything e.g. learning a new language, travelling, going to counseling, writing a book etc. Whatever it may be write it down so you can see it on paper. Make an agreement with yourself about what you’ll need to do in order for those things to come to fruition. Now is the time to dust the cobwebs off your to do list/bucket list.
“When you do the things in the present that you can see, you are shaping the future that you are yet to see.”Idowu Koyenikan,
During this time of quarantine use is wisely by putting things in motion. So that when the lockdown is over you can get it cracking no delays or long talking. Use this time to think long and hard about your future, your purpose, your dreams and your goals. It’s now or never. Hopefully after this pandemic you will be more reluctant to hold back. It’s time for so many of us to stop thinking we have all the time in the world.
I’m going to stop right here and keep this one short and sweet. But if you would like more gems on the topic check out there three posts.
